Our Story:
ADDERE Service-conseil was founded in 2010. The collective enterprise originates from a grouping of four CFDCs in the Eastern Townships - Haut-Saint-François, des Sources, Mégantic area and Coaticook - who joined forces to offer a sustainable development support service in their territory. The company, which was then known as Concertaction Estrie, built a solid reputation by accompanying a large number of businesses in the Eastern Townships during its first years of operation.
In 2015, the organization adopted the name ADDERE, an amalgam of the word adhere - referring to the willingness of companies to adhere to a sustainable development culture - and the two Ds of the term sustainable development (développement durable). In addition to supporting companies and institutions, ADDERE now plays a strategic consulting role in eco-responsibility.
In 2016, ADDERE Service-conseil continues to position itself as a leader in its field by launching the On s'engage en développement durable (OSEDD) attestation, recognition of an organization's serious commitment to integrating sustainable development into its management and taking actions to continuously improve on specific issues. This rigorous certification, which is based on easy-to-use tools, is evaluated by an independent committee whose members have proven expertise in eco-responsibility and come from recognized companies that stand out in sustainable development.
A new service has also been developed in 2019: corporate outsourcing. Through this service, ADDERE Service-conseil experts travel directly to companies on a weekly basis for a period of approximately one year. This allows companies to advance their sustainable development projects through regular and effective support. ADDERE Service-conseil is distinguishing itself more and more in the field, by this approach that is very much appreciated by clients.
2020-2021 marks an important turning point for our collective enterprise. With a growing interest in environmental issues, the ADDERE Service-conseil team is expanding. The company is taking advantage of this opportunity to carry out new initiatives: specialization in the fight against climate change by conducting GHG inventories and creating a sustainable development Web platform.
