Mission
Espace DD's objective is to animate a community of practice and to offer a multitude of resources for organizations wishing to integrate sustainable development into their business practices.
The 5 services offered are a vibrant and dynamic community of practice, workshops for and by peers, practical and interactive training, inspiring conferences and a multitude of resources: tools, informative documents, videos, case studies, contacts, etc.
Description of the 5 services
Community of Practice
It brings together organizations committed to a transition towards sustainable business practices. This service is transversal to the other services of the platform, as it is designed to encourage exchanges and information sharing between members on various sustainable development themes. Visit the COMMUNITY page and find your peers through the member directory and the Slack workspace.
Resources
The resources are categorized according to the different themes of sustainable development. Members can first learn about these themes and then eventually take action and implement specific measures in their organization thanks to the tools available on the platform. These tools include guides, document templates, relevant references, case studies, resource directories, video clips, and even tools shared by other Espace DD members!
Workshops
The central concept of the workshops is simple: for and by peers! At these events, participants can exchange onreal case studies to learn and be inspired. The workshop takes place in two stages:
- An invited professional presents his or her approach to sustainable development in the form of a case study.
- In a participatory facilitation activity, participants will explore certain aspects of the presentation in greater depth to maximize the learning from this case study.
Training
Led by an expert in the field, the training sessions are short, interactive and concrete. Based on the reality of organizations, they aim to be practical and to offer real courses of action in order to integrate sustainable development in business practices.
Conferences
Hosted by a leading expert in the field, the conferences aim to provide strategic reflection, inspiration and motivation to transform business practices towards an increasingly sustainable model. It is about getting out of one's daily life in order to understand why it is important to take the path of sustainable development in one's organization.
